Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeey!

I'm in such a good mood!! Lol, just finished singing and dancing around my room; you know what I'm talking about girls; hairbrush or remote as a microphone, banging out the dance moves. I'm so so so so tired but so so so so excited about things I can't talk about but can most definitely think about and get excited about lol. I've had butterflies for the last couple of days but that's another story..... ;). That's more of a personal thing but because of the butterflies I haven't been able to sleep a wink. Usually I don't sleep cos my minds just buzzing buzzing buzzing but for the last couple of days there has only been one thing on my mind.....

It's funny how things turn out.......... ;)

Anyway, I should probably brush on my last couple of days.... Ok I can't even remember lol. Ummmmm.... Ok....Oh yes! Well the usual really; but only one shoot since my last blog. (I think that was only a fey days ago) Did 2 interviews/features. Didn't work out. Actually worked out once. Ate a load of donuts and chocolate.....



On Monday I went straight from a "workout" in the gym down to my boys studio to catch up. Although an artist himself, he was working on a track for/with a boy group who I have to say have great talent. I had never heard of them before and still haven't managed to check out their stuff but I listened to them record a whole track and they are all wicked singers and lovely lovely people so I wish them and know they will get all the success possible. They are called Frixion so check them out! Can I quickly add that during that time my producing skills came to light and I discovered I had yet another talent lol! But I'm not actually joking! I just don't stop lol. I'm gonna do an engineering course anyway; I'm working on my music so I might as well produce some of my own tunes as well

Sorry I just had to take a quick break. I just had to go hard to Donaeo; it's a Funky Movement! Ok I'm back now.... Ok after recording was over we had a quick listening session and I got to hear some EXCLUSIVE stuff from the biggest group about to hit the music scene HARD; FDM, as well as some Neyo tunes that none of you have heard! Aren't you jealous? I know Neyo pissed me off not too long ago but oh my goodness that guy has mad talent. And the boys are heading in the same direction. Many of you probably already know about FDM and if you don't you're about to know. They recently got signed to Neyo! I'm sooooo excited for them as I know they have been on the scene for a while now and deserve everything that is coming their way. They are crazy talented, can dance AND sing (at the same time lol) and have a certain vibe about them that means they will always stand out from the rest. It's mad how exciting it is when something so exciting happens for someone else close to you! Well I predicted it anyway, lol. Well done boys...well done V ;) They are touring with Neyo and Kerri Hilson very soon; check out their site and get the tour dates; the first London show is already sold out so hurry hurry hurry! So anyway the listening session was a little treat for me. I love listening sessions anyway; have had a few with artists such as Kardinal Offishall, Akon, Ray Lavender and I have had the pleasure of spending time with them in the studio recording, as well as Leona Lewis, so I'm fortunate to have been able to spend time with such musically talented people. I mean Akon and Kardinal Offishall...don't judge just what you hear them release themselves..... Akon is controlling about 70% of urban music; if he's not on the track he produced the track lol. And Kardinall Offishall; he's big, trust me. A lot of people's talents remain behind the camera; but that's because most of the time that's where the money is..... ;)

After getting home from the studio at about 3am I was on the phone until about 7am! Then I had a cold shower and got straight back to work! Nutter!!

I was supposed to meet up with Akon over the weekend; not just for a catch up with a very close friend but because I wanted to interview him for Portia Presents. Despite him being a good friend I won't hold back with the questions; many of you have emailed me with questions you want me to ask him and don't worry, I will! Most of it I already know anyway.... but I will just have to act surprised when he answers. Anyway, I didn't end up meeting him and a lot of my Twitter and Facebookers know why...... because just before I was on my way my friend called me sayng he had made me an apple crumble! Well c'mon what would you do???? I mean I was shattered anyway and I thought it was such a sweet gesture that I though oh what the heck, meet me at my house lol. Awww J I love you sweetie, you know me too well ;)

Anyway it's not a biggie; I'll get the interview wrapped up over the next few weeks.

I am also looking for up and coming talent to interview for the show, though I am being selective, hit me up!!



I keep having to stop writing so that I can dirty dance to the slow jams that keep playing! I think I should change the cd now..... Ok I'm locked into Kiss! Oh even worse.... now I'm tryna fight temptation to sing and dance to Destiny's Child! Love them.... Get back together get back together!!!!

Ok my darlings I have to go; two of my girls just turned up plus I just remembered I've left a crumble in the oven! (I just don't stop) I'm tryna put some weight back on though! I've gone from a 10 to an 8 and I'd feel like a 10yr old if I went even smaller to a 6; yuk! Luckily my bum hasn't gone but it's heading that way if I don't start getting some more sleep and less stress!

Sit down; let me tell you a quick story.....

Once there was a prince walking through the woods. He spotted bulls eye targets painted on many trees, and in the very centre of each one was an arrow and no other marks on the tree.

"Bring me the archer that has done this as I must have him for my body guard", he said.
So they searched and they found a young lad who claimed to have shot the arrows.

"It's amazing how you can do this each time on the first shot" said the prince. "If you can demonstrate this shooting to me you can have up to half my kingdom and be my personal aide."

So the day and time was set for the demonstration and the young lad led them into the woods with his bow and arrows (and a bucket of paint with a brush). As the prince watched, the young lad aimed at a perfectly clean tree, shot the arrow in, then quickly painted a bulls eye around it so the arrow was dead centre.

"You see", he said. "A bulls eye every time on the first shot".

Things are not always what they seem

The plan was to upload vids and pics of my week as there is so much to tell you and I thought it easier if I just let you watch what I have been up to! But just realised how much time and patience that involves, plus some of the pics are on my phone not my digital camera and although I have the wire the laptop is being a moron, so.... I guess you will just have to wait. I'm getting bored of always writing about what I have been getting up to cos I feel like I am repeating myself; most days involve shoots, filming, now the gym ( ;) ) and constant meetings and I am sure you already know that so.... gonna brush on my week then gonna share something with you. Ok so I had about 4 shoots this week, got tortured by a personal trainer (I left him after 20 minutes after finding out what he just made me do was only a warm up...Murderer!! ) One particular meeting I had this week has had me quite excited; although it is early days it is actually a huge charity project and I will be their spokeswoman!! My first proper spokesmodel job; I am so proud! Really proud to be representing as well cos it's an amazing and inspiring project. And I love that as a model I have yet another reason to show that I am more then a pretty face; being a spokesmodel is not as easy as you may think. I'm looking forward to attending events and appearing on tv shows to help spread the word. The woman behind the campaign is lovely and so intelligent; and it's not a coincidence that she is a Libra lol! What can I say, we just got it going on! Talking about Librans, I forgot to mention in one of my last posts that model Saffi Karina (Playboy, and I shot Flavour magazine with her) was also a judge for the semi-finals for the top UK model search for Juice magazine. Did I mention that competition? Saffi, Jessica Rabbit (akamissrabbit.com) and myself were asked to judge and find the finalists. The winner will be sent to New York and will shoot the cover; something I recently did! I will let you know when that cover is out. Literally all the finalists were beautiful and it was quite hard to let some go. That day was quite surreal actually; I had girls screaming saying "oh my God I just touched Portia Freno" !!?? MADNESS!! Anyway, good luck to the finalists, see you at the finals and you are all beautiful and intelligent enough to make it! xx

I'm actually really shattered today; literally didn't sleep a wink and just stayed up and continued working. I'm chilling now though and I'm gonna go and eat again in a minute; made a lovely Thai green curry which tastes off the hook. BEEP BEEP!

My favourite shoot this week was one I did yesterday. It was on location and I had a sneaky peek at some of the pics on the photographers laptop and I must say I was quite amazed; I really put my game on yesterday as it was quite high fashion/edgy and as you know you can't just stand there and do the same dry poses. It was a very natural shoot though; I barely had make up on which is great; to be a successful model you can't hide behind pretty make up; modelling is all in the eyes, the expression, the pose. It's a lot easier sometimes if the make up is amazing as you instantly look good without trying. Anyway was really really happy with what I saw and I'm dying to show you but can't post up ANY pics obviously until the images are used. You know how it goes :( And remember most new/best pics will only be on my official website as I don't post them up on my blog, social networks etc as people can steal them! The pic above was shot by Omar Mckenzie; he's great to work with!

After the shoot I went to a shisha restaurant and smoked peach and watermelon shisha for hours! It was great! lol. I even learned some Persian and apparently I am very good! I may record myself for you guys; I learned some naughty stuff as well lol. What? Never know when you might need it ;) Had some food and before I knew it it was 1am. Was gonna take a late night creep to Finchley to see a friend but he was tired and I was shattered so got picked up and called it a day. But no! Came home to a million and one emails and have been awake ever since! lol! Diaries of an insomniac and workaholic.... I am actually supposed to be in the studio as we speak but my BlackBerry is buggered somehow and I feel unwell so had to cancel.

Oh I might be an ambassador for a really big company; cross your fingers for me and I will let you know if it happens and if it does then I will tell you who for!

I think my feature with the Daily Sport runs on Tuesday but I will let you know for definite over the weekend.

Keep the 25th of May free guys. I have been booked to host a party with Buffie The Body. For those of you who for some reason have not heard of her she is a model with like the biggest boootaaay lol. She's shot covers for all the major American mens mags. Her line of work is quite different to mine but she is huge in the States so again, flattered to be getting booked with such known models. Google her for her website cos I haven't even checked it myself and don't know what it is. So she'll be flying down to host Juice magazines finals afterparty. Email me for more info and guestlist. This one's gonna be crazy, trust me!

Hello again lovely readers, just another quick one as I've got a very busy day today. Surely you must be proud of me for the regularity in which I am now blogging!

You will not be so proud, however, to know that I have not been working out as religiously as originally planned....Oh well, don't need to anyway! Blah to working out! No that's not true, we all need regular exercise and I plan on getting back on it next week. Planning and doing, two different things!

Today I have a shoot, then I have to rush to the Semi-Finals for Juice Magazines next top Uk model search; the winner flies to New York, shoots the cover, etc. I am a judge and I will be judging alongside top model from the US Jessica Rabbit. I am more than happy to help to pick a model I feel has not only the beauty but the talent and the drive to actually make it in this industry. It really takes a lot more than looks and I hope we find a girl with the full package! Lol, have to laugh at something my friend wrote on their Twitter about every girl thinking they are a model now. It started a little debate actually, and it's true, he and many others are right; doing a couple of photoshoots doesn't make you a model. If that's the case everyone is a model because anyone can pay a photographer to make them look good! It takes a long time of castings, jobs (PAID JOBS) and experience to be able to call yourself a model. There's a big difference between an aspiring model, and a working model. Anyone can look good with a good photographer and make up, but without those, can you still work the camera? Who are you modelling for? I could go and grab a girl off road, stick her in front of a good photographer and get some great shots; is she now a model? Lol. Get real. This is for all those aspiring models and working models who are striving towards success; not claiming it before they've even achieved anything!

After the shoot and the judging, I have a meeting with a woman regarding a charity campaign I may be modelling for, so I will keep you posted as and when I get more info.

In regards to my lingerie line, one or two things needed to get sorted asap so the team have flown to Asia for a couple of meetings...leaving me behind! I could do with a bit of sun! (real sun, not this British crap) But I know there is too much to be done here and I haven't the time to be jetting off. The meetings are important but nothing the rest of the team can't deal with.

The other day I mentioned I was tired of working and shooting and filming and writing and producing etc. I then got about 30 emails asking me if I'm "retiring" LOL! They were the funniest emails I've had in a while! Retiring! Get real! I'm not even close to the success I've got in mind. It was funny cos I know I've still got so much to do but also sweet that some people believed I was in a position to "retire". Lol. Hopefully before I am 26 I can not retire, but really kick back and start a family etc, but I do plan on retiring properly before I am 30; don't wanna be middle-aged and still hustling, no way! That's when I'll stop and give my children/husband 100% of my time. I'm not gonna be a Madonna whos kids never see her!

I'm just about to answer some questions for the Daily Sport so I'll let you know when you can read the interview
