BE PROUD OF ME!!

Because I am! lol. So yesterday a very close friend of mine's mum, who is also like a mother to me, told me that I must be downstairs by 7.30am the following morning to go running with her! I was like "yeah that's cool with me, I can do that! When will we get back? Like, 7.45?"

Ha!

She laughed for about 5 mins then said we will be running for an hour and 15 mins!!!! And I knew she wasn't joking because she is a very healthy woman who gets up at the crack of dawn to exercise and pray, so I knew I was in for some serious torture.

I called my friend who is chilling in the sun abroad (alright for some) and he laughed down the phone, telling me I'm not capable. Well that just made me even more determined; I'll show him!

Making things harder for myself as usual, I didn't fall asleep until about 4am, which I guess isn't too bad for me, but when my alarm went off at ten past 7 I wasn't a happy bunny. I looked out the window and noticed that there was ice covering the cars in the drive, it wasn't even completely light yet, but even worse still, my friends mother's car was not in the drive!!

Now, I could have praised the lord for letting me off and jumped straight back into bed; in fact, I almost did do this until I realised that I had another 20 mins to get ready and knowing my luck she would come back 2 minutes before we were due to go all ready and pumped up, find me snoozing and never believe that I really did get up.

So I thought cool, let me prepare myself for the worst (Her coming back)

I splashed cold water on my face, brushed my teeth, pulled on a trackie and sat watching Eve on Sky planner..........

.......Ok.......8am and Auntie (that's what I call her) still was not back.

BUT; Did I crawl back into bed thanking my lucky stars?

NO.

I went jogging alone. Yes. I took myself out of the warm, into the spiteful bitter cold, and went jogging!! Me!!

You're probably thinking... So....??? But seriously this really is not my sort of thing, I mean, I'll get up early for something worthwhile like work or flights. But jogging?? Really? Be serious.

So the road I was on is like the longest road ever, so I thought I'd run all the way around which might not sound far but it's about a mile run, but I ended up going to Valley Green Walk and running through the parks. It was quite nice actually; everyone I passed said good morning and were either walking their dogs or putting themselves through torture like I was, so I wasn't alone!!

The mad part is I actually enjoyed it! I warmed up after a few minutes; the only thing I regret is going out without an i-pod or some music cos I think that would have kept me going for longer.

Haha Auntie just came in the room ready to go jogging! How funny! I told her I had already been and she gave me the look! I'm so glad there are witnesses (I made a show of going and made sure a few people saw, or heard, me leaving the house) Anyway she said she's proud of me :)

To be honest I'm kinda glad I missed her because she is now going jogging for an hour and 15 mins, when I only went for half an hour! Ok, 20 mins. But that's only cos I got bored.

It gets better....

When I got back, I did some crunches! I say "some" because that way you will be more impressed than if I tell you how many I actually did.

Just be proud. And I might actually do it again. I'll film it next time for a laugh

Ok, I promise you there are much bigger things for you to be proud of me for...I promise!!!!

I was gonna take a quick nap before beginning my day but I just got told I've got to look after my little Godson while Auntie goes jogging; he's about to wake up and I need to give him a shower and make him breakfast. I love him so much, even though he is extremely cheeky.

I wasn't supposed to write on here until I was given the go ahead to reveal certain news to you all, but there was no way I could not say Happy Christmas to all my fans!

I was going to post up a video blog but I am a blabber mouth and it was too tempting to just start talking about all the exciting projects I have in store for you, so I thought it better I just leave a little note to wish you all a fantastic xmas.

I know you are all a little mad at me; I have been getting too many emails asking me where I'm at and how come I'm not keeping you all posted; it's so hard at the moment because I can't reveal what I want to, and as for my private life, I haven't the time to let you know what's going on! And I would never have my PA or anyone else do my blogs for me, so I'd rather keep quiet for a while and come back with a bang, rather than bore you with posts that don't really say much.....I don't have time for much of a personal life at the mo...and those special few that are a part of my world HATE being spoken about....(I've got in a lot of trouble in the past :( ) So it's quite hard for me as I know you all like to know the ins and outs but my loved ones come before my career....

Anyhoo....was feeling quite unwell but I'm not too bad now....

Have a wonderful, wonderful Christmas, an amazing New Year...and remember 2009 is a fresh start...Keep things moving...Keep working hard. Keep praying and striving. Nothing happens before it's time. You will get what you deserve; all the hard work will pay off.

I'm feeling so good! Almost lost a very dear friend and I am just happy that we were able to make amends and be back to normal before the end of the year....It was horrible not speaking....

I'm back!!!

Wooooow.

It's been crazy this last two weeks; CRAZY!!

I don't party that much, seriously, but I have been booked for so many appearances and asked to host so many events/parties that I have been working 24,7!!

Last night I was booked to host at Penthouse with Kano; I had quite a bad cold though so looked a little like Rudolph. I had a really nice time; I was shown a lot of love! I was being snapped all night and everytime I left VIP to use the bathroom, I was getting stopped by fans asking me if I would take a picture with them. It still feels weird to me, I can't get used to it! One girl was actually saying how Kano and I are her biggest favourite stars and kept wanting pictures. Again, very strange.

I mean, there's me, walking down Bond St, pulling a flipping suitcase, in a bad mood cos I just got of a train, and people are stopping me asking if I'm Portia Freno. I'm thinking damn! I can't keep on walking out of the house looking like crap anymore! :(

But it's all good.

Kano didn't perform last night. He said there were a few discrepancies...I had a good time anyway but I know quite a few people were disappointed.

Quit snapping me ;)

Last Sunday I was booked to appear at 20 in Kensington; had the best time I've had in ages!! Everyone's hitting me up now like "Yeah that's the spot" lol. It was just such a nice night; wicked music, great vibes, great people.

The club look after me well and I have no reasons to complain. Being paid to party and have fun. Hmmm. It's cool with me. But I don't want to do too many appearances; though I do intend on hosting at 20 this Sunday due to popular demand! You should come! It's a great club.

I've got some really exciting new projects! To be honest I'm feeling quite unwell and its 4am so I'm planning on getting an "early" night, plus I like keeping things secret until they are in action...so I'm not going to elaborate now. I'm confirming a few things tomorrow and over the weekend so you will soon know. I've got a vid to post up for you of me after Penthouse last night but again, too tired to be bothered to upload it. Damn, I'm sounding like a right cow aren't I? Anyway I reveal a few things in the vid...I'll post it 2moro when I get the time.

I'm off to the gym tomorrow; it'll be the second time this week!! Be proud of me; this is coming from the girl who actually joined a gym twice and within both the 6 month-membership periods managed to go no more than 2 or 3 times. And those times consisted of me using the sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, and eating in the cafe. So, like I said, be very proud of me. I'm kinda lucky to get away with not working out, especially as I am SO greedy, but I am shooting for a series soon (more details on that coming) and I have a role where I need to be in PERFECT shape. It's a bit unrealistic to give myself a week to tone up but oh well. So now I've got to work out with a cold but I am determined. Just hope I don't end up in one of the many yummy food places surrounding the gym instead. Wish me luck. Saying that, I've got a good trainer and motivator who is EXTREMELY PUSHY, ANNOYING, and MEAN, but I am grateful for him ;)

Oh yeah; the other day I followed Jagged Edge to one of their gigs to support them. I already knew Wingo from meeting him at a career development centre in Atlanta. So I went with my girls; my best friend Laura, my girl Sisi and a few of her friends.

It was a MADNESS

One of the band members, and I'm not going to say who, got sooo drunk it was unbelievable. He turned into a completely different person! He tried to bring the bottle of vod onto the stage and was wrestling with it in the VIP before going on! It really is true that drink is the devil; he turned so nasty and started attacking people; even his own band members!

I've always loved Jagged Edge, but it was disappointing to see that. Obviously there is a lot more but I've prob already said too much so I'm gonna leave it there. It wasn't Wingo by the way; he's cool

Oh I forgot to tell you I lost my Pinkberry!! :( Hundreds and hundreds of videos, pictures, voice notes.......GONE!!! Can you believe I didn't back them up!! I kept meaning to... Anyway I was insured and got my lovely little Pinkberry back (I love her soooo much) but that's not the point. I lost everything. Some lucky bugger is gonna get some useful info... to think of all the numbers on there as well!!

Anyhoo, I need to try to sleep.
